Myles Tankle

Myles is a cultural hodgepodge of many skills. Born and raised in South Africa, schooled in New Zealand and a graduate of the UNITEC School of Performing Arts in Auckland, Myles brings with him knowledge of far away things into everything he does. Since moving to Australia he has performed in classical plays such as The Duke of Guise in Doorslam Productions’, ‘The Massacre at Paris’; Various Characters within ‘Taming of the Shrew’ and‘Macbeth’, with the Australian Shakespeare Company as well as touring for many years with their Education arm: The Young Bards programs.

Myles was a founding and long standing member of the immersive Underground Cinema acting ensemble known for exciting and secret screenings of cult films in Melbourne and Sydney. Underground Cinema is over 5 years old and continues to enjoy sold out events.

Myles has been contracted by such institutions as Monash Health, Deakin Medical School, St John of God health, Australian Catholic University and RMIT to act as a simulated patient. In the corporate roleplay arena has worked with executives and employees of companies such as Telstra, Victoria Police, WorkSafe Victoria and Monash College . He has also appeared in a number of television commercials, short films and in the award winning Australian web series ‘Chris and Josh’.

As a proud founding member of TBC Theatre, Myles has not only performed but has also worked as Assistant Director, choreographer and facilitator of stage combat, Photographer, and Stage Manager on a number of TBC's latest productions. 

Myles is a member of the MEAA - Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance.
